ABOUT
Ema Kozin was born on 2.12.1998 in Ljubljana. From 2004 to 2013, she attended Nove Jarše Elementary School, where she was a diligent student and regularly participated in various competitions, from sports to mathematics. She continued her education at ERSŠG Ljubljana, known as Vegova, in the technical high school program. As a student, she knew that she was interested in natural sciences, especially mathematics, and, after graduating from high school, she enrolled at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, where she graduated in financial mathematics. Currently, she is completing her master’s degree in actuarial science at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.
She started boxing in 2010 and soon stepped into the ring. She competed in amateur boxing until 2015, during which time she also won the World Cup and became the European Union champion. Her professional career began in 2016 when she fought against Croatian Ina Milohanić in Maribor. Until today, she had 26 fights, 24 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.
Ema Kozin’s head coach since 2017 is Redžo Ljutić, who has been practicing martial arts for 28 years and has successfully run his own club, Fight club Gepard, since 2002. In 2008, he also started boxing. He is a multiple European and world champion in taekwondo and kickboxing. He has produced countless European and world champions.
Ema Kozin’s manager is Katja Fašink, an international crisis communicator and negotiator for critical infrastructures in the aftermath of terrorism, complex accidents, and security and corruption incidents. She has been working with Ema for eight years as a public relations representative, and since 2025 as her exclusive manager, the first licensed WBF manager who is female.
