Ema Kozin

Ema Kozin is the youngest world champion in boxing, having won titles from the WBC, WBO, WBF, WIBA, IBA, WIBF, GBU, GBC, and WBU. Her professional career began in 2016. Since then, she has had 26 fights, with 24 wins, one loss, and one draw. Her next fight is on October 4th in Norway, where she will face Cecilia Brækhus.

ABOUT

Ema Kozin was born on 2.12.1998 in Ljubljana. From 2004 to 2013, she attended Nove Jarše Elementary School, where she was a diligent student and regularly participated in various competitions, from sports to mathematics. She continued her education at ERSŠG Ljubljana, known as Vegova, in the technical high school program. As a student, she knew that she was interested in natural sciences, especially mathematics, and, after graduating from high school, she enrolled at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, where she graduated in financial mathematics. Currently, she is completing her master’s degree in actuarial science at the Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana.

She started boxing in 2010 and soon stepped into the ring. She competed in amateur boxing until 2015, during which time she also won the World Cup and became the European Union champion. Her professional career began in 2016 when she fought against Croatian Ina Milohanić in Maribor. Until today, she had 26 fights, 24 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw.

Ema’s promoter is Box Promotions Germany with manager Ertan Sen, and her middle manager is Katja Fašink. She has been working with both since 2025.
